Sync signed records to Google Drive
Configure a My Drive folder for signed output, verify saved files, and understand naming, permissions, and stopping future sync.

Save completed documents to a Google Drive folder so your team can retrieve them alongside its other records. Configure the destination for each form and confirm the resulting file with a test response; an enabled connection alone does not establish that every past response has been saved.
Choose the destination
Open the form's signed-document area and its Save to Google Drive control. The setup asks where the documents should go.
- Choose Create a new folder in your drive to create a folder named for the form, or Choose existing folder from drive to select your folder.
- Select Next.
- Choose the document pages or sections offered for this form. The choices depend on what the form produces; a form without signature fields can offer its response document instead.
- Complete the setup and open the configured folder to confirm its location and access.
- Complete a synthetic request, wait for its required signatures, and check that the expected file appears there.
Use a folder in My Drive
The current setup supports folders in My Drive. Folders inside a Shared Drive are not supported by this flow. If Google refuses access, choose a folder you own and ask your Workspace administrator to check the relevant sharing restrictions.
The integration can need access for the service account shown in the setup. A specific error can identify editor@formfacade.com as blocked from the destination. Give that error to the administrator rather than changing organization-wide sharing settings without review.
File names and output
Names can include the submission number and mapped respondent name or email, with a document suffix. Configure the appropriate identity/key fields and check a real generated example before relying on a naming convention. Email attachment names and saved document names can differ.
A signed document, its certificate information, signature images, and uploaded files are not interchangeable. Select the output your records process needs and verify what the configured folder receives.
Change or stop saving
Reconfiguring the location affects future saving; do not assume the existing archive has moved. Stop saving stops future submissions being saved through this connection. It does not delete documents already in Drive.
Drive permissions govern access to the saved files. Review folder sharing separately from Formesign collaborator access. For a missing file, check records and sync troubleshooting; for ownership and retention decisions, see sharing and retaining records.
