Manage responses and statuses
Find a request, review its details and distinguish board status from signing progress.

Use the form's response workspace to find submitted requests and see what needs attention. A board status describes your process; the signature activity describes who has actually signed. Check both before treating a request as finished.
Find the request
Open the intended form and choose its Responses view. On shared Home screens, View orders may lead to the submission inbox even for Formesign. Locate the response by the relevant name, identifier or date and open its detail view.
Check that you are looking at the right response before changing its status or contacting a signer. Similar form titles, imported copies and repeated requests can produce records that look alike.
Review answers and signing activity
Read the submitted fields, attachments and workflow details. Where a signature activity view is available, it distinguishes Request sent, Not signed, Signed, and Signature not required. A sent invitation is not a completed signature; an optional skipped signer can be correctly exempt from completion.
For a pending request, identify the active step and its recipient. Use the workflow progress guide before retrying distribution or changing the configured chain.
Use statuses deliberately
The response board can organize work into configured statuses. Move a response only when the corresponding staff action has actually occurred. Naming a column “Completed” does not establish that a final signed PDF exists or that every required signer has finished.
Automatic movement after a workflow finishes is itself a configuration choice. If a request has all its signatures but remains in a staff-review column, check the process setting rather than collecting the same signatures again.
Find the final record
Open the available signed PDF or certificate and confirm it belongs to the same request. For tabular analysis, use reports. If a file or row is absent, first check the response and completion state, then use record and sync troubleshooting.
