Form signature quickstart
Import a Google Form, configure its signature field and share the signing experience.

Collect answers and a signature in the same Formesign response. Start with a Google Form you own, choose how to add the signature, and share the resulting Formesign link with respondents.
Before you begin
Use a short example form with a name, email address and acknowledgement. Sign in with the Google account that can edit it. Keep an original you can return to while you learn the setup.
Import and add a signature
Open Form signature
On the Form signature product page, choose Try it free. The setup screen accepts a Google Forms link or Browse to select a form from Drive.
Choose the source behavior
The default screen says Make a copy of Google Form & add signature. Choose Edit my existing form if you intend to update the existing form instead. Confirm that choice before continuing; it changes which form receives the setup.
Add and review the signature
Choose Add signature. In signature setup, select the signature type offered for your form. A Simple signature lets the respondent draw directly on the form. A Verified signature uses Google sign-in and includes name and email. Review the signature role, position and requiredness.
Preview and share
Open the resulting form as a respondent. Check its questions, signature and confirmation. Use the Formesign sharing link when distributing the signing form.
Check the result
A signature question enhanced by Formesign is different from the ordinary text field visible in the underlying Google Form. Open the actual Formesign link to check what respondents will use. Include the terms or acknowledgement beside the signing task so the respondent understands what they are completing.
After a sample response, find it in Responses and check the signature and answers together. If you configured signed output, inspect the resulting PDF. Google Drive filing and emailed copies depend on their configuration; verify those destinations separately before sending the form widely.
